My passion for teaching began as a Sunday school teacher during my teenage years, where I led lessons for young children and developed engaging activities to inspire their learning. These experiences solidified my love for education and drove me to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education at Cañada College, in San Francisco Bay Area.
After graduation, I launched a childcare business that has thrived for over 15 years. My work emphasizes creativity, patience, and fostering curiosity through interactive storytelling, art, and experiments.
Beyond my business, I remain dedicated to teaching, volunteering in church programs and mentoring adults. My lifelong commitment to education continues to inspire students and parents, embodying my belief that learning is key to a brighter future.
Claudia Zapata is a passionate advocate for quality early childhood education and the holistic development of children. With a background in Business Administration, specializing in Marketing and Public Relations, she left the corporate world to dedicate herself to early childhood education, where she discovered her true calling: improving the quality of childcare programs and empowering children, families, and educators.
Since emigrating to the United States in 2009, Claudia has built a career focused on raising the standards of early childhood education programs. She began as a volunteer at a nonprofit organization in Omaha, NE, where she later became the director of the daycare program. Later, she founded her own consulting firm, providing mentorship, training, and support to childcare providers in Nebraska and Texas, helping them improve the quality of their services.
Claudia promotes respect for the child as a capable and valuable individual, ensuring that their voice and needs are at the center of the educational process. Based on the Montessori philosophy, she fosters independence, creativity, and critical thinking, helping children develop confidence and resilience. She also believes in the essential collaboration between families and educators to ensure comprehensive support.
At Eagles Child Care Center, Claudia and her team work to provide a warm, respectful, and high-quality environment, where every child is valued and encouraged to grow based on love and respect.

Greetings, my name is Laura Ramirez and I am grateful to introduce myself as the Primary Lead Guide for Eagles Child Care Center. I stumbled upon the world of Montessori in 2018 and could not believe that such a beautiful methodology for early childhood education ever existed. Unexpectedly it was quite like no other setting I had been a part of before. From the calmness to the peaceful ambiance, the environment carried such a presence that I felt ignited something deep within me. Yet, once I stepped into a primary classroom I knew I found my niche! As an educator it has been a true honor to guide every student I cross paths with. My hope is to empower the young generation, to strengthen their minds and hearts in unwavering ways, and to encourage them along the way with compassion, respect,
and love. I am blessed to be part of such an amazing and uplifting team here at ECCC and I cannot wait to build everlasting bonds with our community
