The Benefits of Montessori Education in the
Nest Classroom (3 to 18 Months)
At Eagles Child Care Center (ECCC), our Nest Classroom is thoughtfully designed to provide infants with a nurturing, stimulating, and developmentally appropriate environment that lays the foundation for lifelong learning.
Grounded in Montessori principles, our approach supports the cognitive, emotional, and physical development of children from 3 to 18 months old, fostering independence and a love for discovery from the very beginning.
A Space Designed for Infant Development
Our Nest Classroom is carefully divided to meet the unique needs of infants at different stages of development. We consider their motor skills progression and sleep schedules, ensuring they thrive in a space that supports their natural growth.
- Infants (Non-Movers) – Our youngest babies are placed in a gentle, nurturing environment with soft surfaces and age-appropriate materials that encourage sensory exploration and early movement.
- Infants (Movers) – As babies begin to crawl, stand, and take their first steps, they are given more opportunities to explore, develop coordination, and refine their gross motor skills in a safe and structured space.
- Dedicated Sleep Area – For our youngest infants, we have a separate, peaceful sleeping area, ensuring they rest undisturbed and according to their individual sleep schedules.
At ECCC, we don’t just provide childcare—we nurture the next generation of confident, capable, and joyful learners from the very beginning.
